MAJOR CHANGES

  • Changed, Altered, Added, or Removed some level design on 90% of MIND Rooms, including the Speed Stages
  • Revamped the Rush Trick Combo System to be more like Sonic Rush Adventure’s
  • Revamped how the ceiling detection works (You shouldn’t be able to get stuck in walls now.)
  • Revamped the Textbox System (Again)
  • Revamped the Camera System
  • Changed how the Boost Meter looks a lil’ bit (It properly actively increases and decreases in real-time.)
  • Changed how the Boost works, now letting you be launched in the direction you’re holding (If no direction or both directions are held, it’ll launch you in the direction your character’s facing.)
  • Changed the Rank requirement to unlock MIND Bonus 1
  • Changed all controls in-game to display your custom controls
  • Changed how the MIND background looks so there’s less visual clutter
  • Changed the “NEW GAME” button to now delete your current file
  • Changed how characters die
  • Changed how lightning works for MIND’s background
  • Increased the time requirements for all SPEED Stages
  • Increased everyone’s weight
  • Increased everyone’s acceleration speed
  • Increased everyone’s jump height
  • Increased Ivy & Kappa’s Up Trick Boost
  • Increased Sarah’s Hovering Terminal Velocity
  • Increased how long you have to wait before doing another Rush Tricks
  • Increased the Rush Mode timer from 5 seconds to 6 seconds
  • Lowered the Max Speed & Break Speed of all characters, lettin’ you react to more things better
  • Lowered how much slopes affect your momentum
  • Lowered how much Boost Energy you gain for a Rush Trick
  • Optimized the background for MIND
  • Optimized the Sonic Rush-like background
  • Optimized the MIND screen transition
  • Optimized the SEGA Genesis screen transition
  • Removed Character Tutorial from Freeplay
  • Removed Freeplay from MIND Title Screen
  • Removed Kappa (MIND) from Freeplay
  • Altered a lot of text
  • Made the Rail-Jump area visible
  • Checkpoints now show you the time you got when you get close to it
  • Ivy can no longer Slide-Cancel
  • Breakable Floors now give you +5 Boost Energy upon being broken

MINOR CHANGES

  • Changed how the Launcher Ramp looks in MIND areas
  • Changed the camera shake effect to only shake vertically (Inspired by anime screen shaking, DBZ specifically.)
  • Changed how the animation system works for Walking, Running, Full Speed, & Peelout (Rush Exclusive)
  • Changed stat “JUMP HEIGHT” to “JUMP POWER” in the Character Select Screen
  • Changed stat “GRAVITY” to “WEIGHT” in the Character Select Screen
  • Changed stat “FULL SPEED” to “BREAK SPEED” in the Character Select Screen
  • Changed positions of room transition collisions ever so slightly
  • Increased how fast you can change characters in the Character Select screen
  • Lowered the volume for Rush Mode Trick SFX
  • Removed the Death Quotes (Will be back later, I just didn’t feel like makin’ quotes for Rush)
  • Moved the SPEED STAGE timer to the top-center of the screen
  • SPEED STAGES’ “GOAL” can now be skipped by pressing your [JUMP] button
  • Made MIND screen transition faster
  • Made SEGA Genesis screen transition faster

FIXES
--------

  • Fixed an oversight where pausing while dying would do something dumb
  • Fixed an oversight where getting a Game Over would crash the game
  • Fixed some things not being affected by SimplifyVFX Option
  • Fixed some things not being affected by Particles Option
  • Fixed some things not being affected by Screen Shake Option
  • Fixed (hopefully) an issue where you can easily get stuck in ceilings and walls
  • Fixed (hopefully) an issue where you’ll get teleported to another wall for some reason
  • Fixed the camera sometimes acting on the fritz when a starts
  • Fixed [F4] not setting your game to fullscreen
